Septic System Inspections

System Inspections

Click to Enlarge We can learn a lot about your septic system during an inspection. We determine the thickness of the scum layer, the liquid effluent depth, and the depth of the sludge. Your tank then needs to be pumped out prior to our further inspection to determine the septic tank's condition. We have the capability to inspect all residential systems.

Our inspection includes, among other things:
  • Locating your Septic System components including the septic tank, distribution box and drain fields.

  • Mapping your septic system components for future reference.

  • Inspecting sewer drain lines using our state-of-the-art camera.

  • Check the waste water flow rates into and out of the septic tank.

  • Check for problems with baffles not functioning or eroded. If the baffles are not visible, the tank must be pumped before the baffles can be checked for proper function and or deterioration.

  • Check for any damage caused by tree roots or tank cover leakage.
